Quinn Conquers Tahoe While WSOPC Expands

Danville, California’s Stanley Quinn won the World Series of Poker Circuit Tahoe main event at the Harvey’s Lake Tahoe Resort and Casino Tuesday. The $86,789 first prize was grabbed by 51-year-old IT manager turned poker pro along with his first WSOPC gold ring plus a seat at the 2010-2011 WSOP Circuit National Championship in Las Vegas next May after winning his seat into the Titan Poker Download event via a mega-satellite at Harvey’s.

The $1,600 tournament attracted 246 entrants despite huge snowfall in the Lake Tahoe area. At this year’s Harvey’s Lake Tahoe series, a total of 2,197 played down in ten WSOP Circuit events. Rocklin, California’s Andrew Barber succeeded the series point’s race and will join Quinn in the WSOP Circuit National Championship. The WSOPC extended two more stops to the tour this week – Palm Beach, Florida and Chester, Pennsylvania. The Titan Poker Promotions Palm Beach stop is set on Feb. 17- Mar. 1, 2011 in South Florida, while Chester will take place Apr. 28- May 9, 2011 in Pennsylvania.
